Flight options

It is a fifteen hour drive to Acadia from Columbus, but there are some beautiful stops along the way! Check out our FAQ section for road trips recs. If you are flying, you can fly into Bangor, which is the closest airport, about an hour's drive for around $200 round trip. Similarly, you can fly into Portland from Columbus directly, no layovers, for about the same price! Portland is a three hour drive from Acadia, but it is such a charming city and the drive there has so many incredible New England coastal-charm towns.
