Now a museum, this was once the home of famous author, Mark Twain, and his family from 1874 to 1891. Twain wrote some of his most memorable works here, including Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. Open 7 days a week from 0930-1730, the last tour starts at 1615. Purchase tickets online for other a general house tour or living history tour. Please note tickets often sell out ahead of time.

Grounds and hiking trails are free to the public; dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash at all times. Trash receptacles are scattered throughout the property. The museum is open Wednesday-Sunday from 1000-1600 The grounds are open daily from 0730-1700

While technically different, the Center and Blueback Square are within walking distance of each other and have plenty of options for all!
