What will the weather be like?

Answer

In October, Vail can be a mixed bag with cold nights and beautiful sunny days or, rain / snow. The average temperatures could range from 35 degrees to 70 degrees. Don't forget to check the weather before packing and check more than one time as the weather can change quickly and is unpredictable.

Where can we stock up the hotel room with snacks, food, etc.

Answer

The best shopping for groceries can be done at Safeway or City Market in West Vail. These stores are located in West Vail, only 3.3 miles from Vail. Vail has free bus services to and from town that drops off right in front of the grocery stores. Another option is to take the (free) town bus from Vail Village to Lionshead Village and go visit The Market at Vail.

1) In Vail Village: Vail Fine Wines. 2) In West Vail, located in the City Market Grocery Store: Alpine Wine and Spirits. 3) In West Vail: West Vail Liquor Mart.

Renting a car / parking it in Vail?

Answer

Pro tip - unload your belonging at the hotel then head to the Vail Transportation Center for free parking. The Vail Transportation Center is about a five minutes walk to the Manor Vail Hotel.

Getting the most out of your rental car

Prior to arriving at the hotel and to limit the need for errands; stock up with food, snacks, beverages, etc. See the above grocery recommendations. Addresses also located in the "things to do" section of website.

From Denver - stores will be littered along the drive to Vail off Highway 70. From Eagle Airport - they will be located in Eagle Vail. Stop here before continuing to Vail and to avoid back tracking.

Hotel Covid-19 Policy

Mask restrictions are being enforced by the Manor Vail for all guests in all indoor areas. Mask are required when mobile inside of the hotel common areas. Manor Vail is holding their employees to a high standard and expect guests to be respectful when indoors.

Are we wearing masks at the wedding?

Answer

Manor Vail policy is that all guests wear a mask when mobile. Yes, at the indoor reception we will be wearing masks when mobile or when encountering employees. Manor Vail wants to protect its staff as much as they want to protect us.
