How do I RSVP?

Answer

We will be sending formal invitations 3-4 months before the wedding, which will include a link to our website where you can confirm your party’s RSVP and entree selection.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 pm, so we suggest arriving by 3:15 - 3:30 pm to make sure you have plenty of time to get find the venue site and get settled. Guests who arrive after 4pm start time will have to wait until after ceremony to enter to ensure we avoid any disruptions during our big moment. If you will be utilizing the hotel shuttle, please plan to be outside the hotel lobby by 2:30 pm for prompt departure. If driving separately, please also consider Friday rush hour traffic in your travel plans (i.e. 1 hour for travel from carlsbad OR 2+ hours if traveling from OC).

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your formal invitation. If you’ve been given a plus-one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

To honor the intimacy of this occasion, we are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that all guests silence and tuck away their cell phones so we may all be fully present in this special moment together. Rest assured, our photographers will be capturing all the details of the moment, and we look forward to sharing them with you.

What is the dress code?

We would love to see our loved ones dressed in their best to help the day feel extra special. Formal attire is encouraged.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We’ll miss you! If you can’t make it, please let the bride or groom know and RSVP ‘not attending’ as soon as you can, so we can plan accordingly. Thank you in advance!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only event - except for those who will be part of our wedding party. If that's not your case, we kindly ask that you join us for a night off. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be any transportation options?

Answer

Yes! For those staying at The Cassara Carlsbad, we will be arranging a shuttle service to help get guests safely to and from the venue. Anyone staying elsewhere is welcome uber to the hotel to join the shuttle crew. Otherwise, there will be plenty of parking at Monserate for our guests. Please make sure to plan for traffic if you will be driving individually. Check the arrival FAQ for more details regarding timing.
