Our journey began on a dating website, where Gene immediately felt lucky to be talking to Rachel. Their first conversation was anything but ordinary—Rachel was busy planning her housewarming party, and they quickly found themselves sharing laughs and stories. Not long after, they went on their first date, and it didn’t take long for Gene to realize that he had found someone truly special. On December 18th of that year, he asked Rachel to be his girlfriend—a moment they both knew would mark the beginning of something amazing. As the months passed, they started making plans for their future together, including moving in later that year. Their love grew even stronger when they "adopted" their first dog, officially becoming a little family.
