Many direct flights operate into Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) on Alaska Airlines. United Airlines also offers direct flights from Denver (DEN) and Houston (IAH). Please book your flights accordingly (and early!) Rental cars are highly encouraged and can also be reserved from the airport. Girdwood is located within an hour from Anchorage along the beautiful Seward Highway.
