COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT BASKING RIDGE

This is where Danielle and Brian will be staying Friday and Saturday night. A hotel block has been saved at this hotel for guests who would like to stay close to the bride and groom. There will also be a shuttle available (for guests who use the room block ONLY) from the Marriott to the venue and back on the day of the wedding. The shuttle times will be determined closer to the wedding. Room Block Rates for Friday, January 11 and Saturday, January 12, 2019: King room w/sleeper sofa - $119/night Double Queen room - $129/night Parking is included for guests who partake in the room block. Please remember, though, that the DEADLINE to get a room in the block is DECEMBER 21!

Flight

NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Newark International Airport is the closest airport to the wedding venue and hotel. Public transportation is accessible from the airport via New Jersey Transit (bus or train), though renting a car will be the easiest and most recommended option for getting around, as the train is fairly limited in where it goes and its times, and the bus, quite frankly, takes forever. Hiring a Lyft or Uber is also an option, but depending on where you want to go and how frequently you plan to go out, it can really add up. Other nearby airports include LaGuardia, JFK International, Philadelphia International, and Lehigh Valley International, though it will take significantly longer to get from these airports to the venue and hotel.

HOTEL INDIGO

If you do not plan to take advantage of the room block at the Marriott, this is a lovely local hotel that is just 1.5 miles from the Marriott and approximately eight miles from the venue. Please be aware that there is no transportation offered from this hotel to the venue. We recommend using Lyft or Uber to get to and from the venue should you plan to partake in any adult beverages.

Train

NJ TRANSIT

The Basking Ridge station on the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor line is about eight miles from the venue and only five miles from the Courtyard Marriott. This station, however, is only open on local routes, which do not run very often on weekends. The Summit station runs much more frequently, but it is farther from the event. If you plan to travel by train, make sure to check the schedule for the specific dates you intend to travel, as not all schedules are the same each day. Any additional service advisories will also be available when you check the schedule with NJ Transit.

THE BERNARDS INN

If you do not plan to take advantage of the room block at the Marriott and prefer a local boutique hotel, the Bernards Inn is approximately ten miles from the venue (about twenty minutes by car). Please be aware that there is no transportation offered from this hotel to the venue. We recommend using Lyft or Uber to get to and from the venue should you plan to partake in any adult beverages.

Travel Note

VENUE PARKING

Complimentary valet parking at the venue is provided. Just roll on up to the door and voila! If you are driving and prefer to forgo the valet, there is also a large parking lot. However, please note that this parking lot is also for patrons of the Stone House restaurant, as well as the Stone House Grand Ballroom, where there may be another event taking place. As such, available parking in the public lot is not guaranteed. We strongly encourage using Lyft or Uber for your transportation to and from the venue if you are not participating in the Marriott room block shuttle, especially as there will be alcohol provided.
