Our Story

This photo was the first ever taken of Danielle and Brian at the first ever wedding they attended together in June 2016. They hadn't been dating long, yet many people thought they were married!

Danielle knew Brian was a keeper when, just mere weeks into dating (June 2016), he came with her to NYC where she was taking part in a publishing panel on Young Adult literature.

Just chilling on a Tyler Farr tour bus with Danielle's cousin Mark (June 2016) the first time Brian met anyone in Danielle's family. Clearly, it went well, as Mark will be officiating their wedding!

Brian and Danielle went on their first trip together in July 2016 to a B&B in the Fingerlakes for their friends' wedding. They loved it so much they went back the following summer.

Hanging out with Danielle's mom's dog, Maggie, became a favorite morning ritual in the fall of 2016.

Danielle and Brian moved into their first apartment together in November 2016. This photo was taken the first day they got the keys and began painting (it became a week-long adventure).

Brian and Danielle spent their first Christmas together in 2016.

Random silliness on birthdays, New Year's Eve (the pic in which Brian has fallen asleep), and more.

In Feb. 2017, Brian took his first-ever trip to California. They visited Danielle's friends Alex and Justin in LA and drove up the coast to visit her brother, sister-in-law, and nephews in San Jose.

Only a few days after they returned from their first trip to California, Danielle and Brian adopted Luna, a twelve-week-old dilute tortie. She continues to make them laugh and swoon on a daily basis.

On the sidelines at one of Danielle's sister Gillian's soccer games in the spring of 2017, Danielle enjoyed embarrassing Brian by wearing her cat hoodie, complete with cat ears and pouch for Luna.

It doesn't happen often, but every once in a while, Brian and Danielle actually go out and do things, like seeing Danielle's beloved Ottawa Senators, Brian's beloved GGG, to NY Comic-Con, and more.

Brian won about eight million brownie points with Danielle's family after sitting through her sister Brooke's four-hour-long dance recital in May 2017.

Brian and Danielle took Trip #2 to the Fingerlakes in June 2017 to celebrate their one-year anniversary. They already can't wait to go again.

Brian and Danielle headed to Dallas, TX in October 2017 with Danielle on crutches with a fractured foot so he could finally meet her sister and brother-in-law.

Brian and Danielle attended his cousin Amanda's wedding in November 2017 in Cape May with his parents, brother Sean, and his brother's girlfriend, Amanda.

With the help of Danielle's family to throw her off, Brian proposed to Danielle on December 24, 2017. Obviously, she said yes.

Danielle and Brian flew back to San Jose in January 2018 to spend her mom's 60th birthday with *almost* the entire crew (her brother-in-law, Chris, unfortunately, couldn't make it).

On the second to last day of their trip, the sun finally came out, and they spent a leisurely day in San Jose.
