Travel Note

If you are traveling from Denver:

There are a number of routes you can take by car, all of which are 6-7 hours. One route, through Gunnison, is going to be problematic because there will be road construction on US-50 between Gunnison and Montrose. Info on the road closures can be found here: https://www.us50info.com/ We recommend taking an alternative route; I-70 W (Grand Junction) to US-50 E -OR- US-285 S (Salida) to US-160 W (Pagosa Springs > Durango) You can also fly into Durango or Montrose, but you'll need a ride to Silverton (either rental car, shared ride or limo). If you are staying in downtown Silverton, we will be providing round-trip transportation to and from Eureka Lodge for both the Welcome Dinner and the Wedding & Reception.

Airport Options

There are several airport options to consider. Durango, Montrose, and Grand Junction have regional airports which are your closest options to Silverton. Albuquerque and Denver are much further away, but are more affordable and offer more flight options. We recommend a 4WD rental car for any option you choose. Airport Driving Times: Durango (DRO) to Silverton - 1.5 hours Montrose (MTJ) to Silverton - 1.5 hours Grand Junction (GJT) to Silverton - 3 hours Albuquerque (ABQ) to Silverton - 5 hours Denver (DIA) to Silverton - 7 hours

Eureka Campground

Camping highly encouraged! It's important to us that our wedding is more than just a one evening affair. We would love to see our friends and family bond through shared experiences which include adventure, meals, and a cozy campfire all weekend long. This is also the most affordable and convenient option to the venue (no shuttle needed)! Don't own a camper and don't want to sleep in a tent? Not a problem! There are plenty of camper rental options available (some even have pick-up and drop-off services for a convenient stay). Phil and Kelly have done this before through RVshare for a friend's wedding and had the absolute best experience! See options below.
