Estes Park is a charming town. Visit main street for shopping, restaurants, and ice cream cone, etc! We loved the food at Ed's Cantina, the coffee at Kind Coffee and Inkwell and Brew and the Macdonald Book Shop. On the way to town is the restaurant Bird and Jim - we thought they had great food and a spectacular view! Lake Estes has a nature sanctuary trail and a marina for water activities. We haven't been but Coffee on the Rocks and the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern are on the road to downtown Estes Park and are highly recommended for food and the view.
