Rocky Mountain National Park Hike
8:00 am
The plan currently is to park at the Bear Lake Trailhead allowing for a scenic 1 mile paved hike around Bear Lake and/or a more strenuous 3 mile hike visiting 3 lakes. We have timed entry park passes for 2 cars. Plans may be adjusted based on park crowds.
Mountain Hayride and Campfire
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Casual
A private group horse-drawn hayride through the mountains with a mid-break for a campfire is scheduled for 5:30-7:00pm; however, we'll need to be at the stables about 20 minutes early. Meet at the Ram's Head Lodge parking lot at 5:00pm and we'll carpool to the stables. Everyone is welcome but please RSVP if you're planning to attend!

Bible Point Hike
8:30 am
This hike is on YMCA property. It's scenic and relatively short (a few miles) but is described as steep. Join us to kick off the wedding weekend with a beautiful hike and an opportunity for a quick marriage prayer/blessing at the top. Meet at the Ram's Head Lodge parking lot at 8:30am.
Hawkeyes vs Terps Ultimate Kickball Game

RSVP if you're playing so we can plan for team swag appropriately. All ages and abilities welcome! RSVP negative if you’re not playing, but spectators and cheerleaders encouraged!! (Go Hawks!)
Rehearsal and Dinner to Follow
4:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Attire is Business Casual - again, remember we'll be outside for the rehearsal!
(This event is for those directly involved in the wedding. We look forward to seeing the rest of our guests at the welcome celebration later this evening at the Pearson Fire Ring.) Those directly involved in the ceremony will meet at the Ram's Head Lodge parking lot at 4:00pm. We’ll carpool to the Overlook chapel for the rehearsal and back for a Fiesta dinner catered in at the Lodge. We expect dinner to start around 5:00pm at the Lodge. Taco Bout Love!
Welcome Campfire

Attire is Casual!
The fire ring is located near the Upper Cookout Pavilion. Park at or walk to the Boone Mountain Center and as you face the pavilion you’ll see the fire ring a short walk down to the right.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Attire is Mountain Fancy! It's a wedding so think dress clothes, but also remember that we'll be outdoors on a mountain! Check the weather and choose your shoes accordingly to be comfortable!
Meet at the Ram's Head Lodge parking lot by 3:15pm to carpool and caravan to the ceremony site. It's not far but it can be difficult to find. There is parking for about 20 cars. The reception is also outdoors at the Upper Cookout Pavilion, a few miles away on YMCA property. There is parking in the Boone Mountain Center parking lot.

Saying Goodbye

No formal farewell is planned; however, as breakfast is included in your stay, we plan to be at the dining hall in the morning for hugs goodbye as you grab a coffee or your morning meal! We leave YMCA property for our honeymoon around 10:30am.
