Best Woman
The title Best Woman really fits this girl. Due to her misfortune of being born as Sara's younger sister, she has put up with Sara's antics literally her whole entire life, and still chooses to purposely spend time with her! She's the one who looks a lot like Sara (you may have even mixed her up with the bride), is great at keeping even keel, & was forced to endure the trying on of 60 wedding dresses, and did so with a smile on her face! Her only downfall is her belief that it is acceptable to eat bananas in public and the fact that she may or may not be the funniest of the sisters. Seriously, she is the best sister anyone could ever ask for- she gives back as a social worker, is truly there for the bride, and is basically a supermom (!) to Sara (and Brian’s!) nieces and nephew!
Bridesmaid
Becky has been in Sara's life since Sara was born, and was like an older sister to her growing up! These two have been talking about their weddings (& "MAWWAGE") their entire lives. She is the angel with 4 cuties running around and though she lives in CT, has fielded many a wedding question! Near or far, these two are there for each other. However, Becky and the bride are not allowed to sit in church together due to the inexplicable giggle fits that this may cause. Other than Sara sitting by Rebecca's side during her own vows; this resulted in some serious ugly cry-laughing from Sara and she's hoping that Becky will hold it together a little better than she did. They can be found together at “clown and werewolf parties” or “being a bed,” or finding mozzarella cheese under the couch.
Bridesmaid
Taylor is Sara’s best friend since they were 4 & 5 years old. She came home from Kindergarten and told her mom “I met my best friend today,” and it still holds true! Last time they were at camp together, an entire bunk of girls were given a warning speech about them. If your bra has been hung on the flagpole, look no further. She and Sara have stayed close from NY to FL to CA to Boston. There are so many stories shared between these two that they couldn’t not be friends, if nothing else for the fear of blackmail. From days of “YOU WANT SOMEFIN” to being SR & everything in between. On a serious note, Taylor is one of the most loving and caring people and is incredible at expressing that, and has agreed to also act as officiant! Apparently she loves Brian almost as much as she loves Sara.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Sara were roomies in college then moved out to California together, so to say they’ve shared a few experiences is an understatement! The 10 day road trip coast to coast in the car that George Pagano affectionately called “a roller skate” (later dubbed “the Gypsy”) was only the beginning. Though Jess lives in MD again, they still get together to re-live their most trouble causing years, catch up, & laugh mostly with their mouths wide open clutching their stomachs but making no noise. Jess has shared her love for music & her laid back ways rubbed off on Sara & helped shape her personality. From Trax & Midday Mario (“how do you make it go baweew?!” to Tee H. Rust Bar & back east, Jess has really been there for the bride! She’s even lent out said “roller skate” many times.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Sara have been causing a ruckus at camps since they met. Shanny is a bubbly blonde who Sara met when Shannon was a counselor and Sara was the theater director! They shared common interests, including driving in circles, and the most important of which being their ability to laugh. They kept in touch throughout college (Shanny wins that prize of these 2!) and Shan even visited Sara in CA. In the past, you could find her showing Sara how to navigate NYC, as well as how to waltz yourself right into the VIP area anywhere! She is a fun free wild child but also a fellow yoga lover. For a while, Sara had to make sure to space their outings out due to her inability to hang! (Outside of when she’s “on a break!”) These days the two share low key lunches in Bryant Park during the week.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is what one may describe as an old, old, wooden ship. She sand Sara have shared many a dirty look toward guys who hit on them when all they were trying to do was eat a fish taco in peace. (Little did the bride know she would run that same risk— see “How We Met” in the Home page.) Sairie has become the resident artist for the wedding and has the ability to speak exclusively in movie quotes and do so hilariously. She and the bride met in San Diego where they shared a beautiful house/ room, managed not to kill each other, and came out great friends! They visit FL- NY regularly still. Sarah has shared the joy of baking, painting, plants, & Facebook stalking. If you’re interested in hearing about “this one horse town” aka beautiful St. Augustine, ask her & she’ll give you a full history.
Bridesmaid
This girl had to put up with Sara at work-day in & day out! She is a sweet angel and has already acted as a professional color chooser and florist with the patience of a saint. You can find her with the newest member of her family Emerson or with her dog Chase, who despite being +65 lbs, Sara still insists on scooping up and carrying around. [what?! He likes it.] Thankfully during their tenure at said job, neither actually did “fall into a sinkhole” &they still refer to each other as “work wifey” (sorry Brian!). Alyssa's calling Sara "Cows Tail" is @ at least motivational; she steals Alyssa's organizational skills & tries to share some 'go with the flow' vibes. They've talked through walls while g-chatting & still enjoy countless laughs over many a ”fancy” coffee (from Roast or otherwise).
Bridesmaid
Ernie is a local and recent friend in Sara's life. Somehow chill but also a wild child, it is usually bad (or great- depending upon how you look at it) when the two are left to their own devices! Their friendship truly blossomed in Atlantic City when crashing others' bachelorette parties and continued to develop through vacations and day to day activities like passing books back & forth and watching intelligent TV like Jersey Shore. Erin and Sara can hear the same song twice in a row and bust into dance as if it were the first time in 10 years ("Sing it again now"), enjoy a good 90's throwback road trip, and can barely stop each other from throwing a jelly donut at a rude passerby. In seriousness, these gals are truly there for each other and are lucky to have become fast true friends!
Bridesmaid
Kelley is Sara's newest member of the family!!! Kelley (AKA Pockets) and Frank, Sara's brother, were just married this past July! Sara may or may not have had a hand in gently suggesting Frank look for a ring ;) this is after getting used to the fact that Frank was enamored with a girl named "Pockets." (Huh?!) Pockets, although a Ranger fan, is a lovable and laid back gal who could teach Sara (and most everyone at this wedding) a thing or two about baseball. These gals can commiserate about their lovely daily LIRR rides but mostly spend happy go lucky time together, enjoying drinks and Mexican food together, and the occasional random and fun outing like bowling or a beer tasting. Their hot tub laugh fest at Kelley's bachelorette party in the Poconos helped prompt the wedding location!
Bridesmaid
Jennifer is Brian’s big sister and has obviously known him her whole life! She and Sara met while she was still pregnant and haven’t had too much time to cause trouble together, aside from an 80’s fashion show/ dance party/ pool party! She spent the first year of Brian and Sara’s relationship being forced to play fashion consultant for upcoming events, fielding nervous text messages asking “what do you think of this dress!?” followed by a flood of photos. One time she was even forced to walk around all of Nantucket with Sara for hours who had curlers in her hair to “make sure it set” after a blowout. Jennifer is a fellow yoga lover and the mom to that cutie Delaney. Sara is excited to have her as a new sister after the wedding! And Delaney as a niece!
