FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sara Pagano and Brian Fenley
We know you all have a million questions, and we will try to answer them all here!
Question

Can we really stay at the camp for free?!

Answer

YES! Everyone is welcome to stay Saturday night & Sunday night, and thanks to the help from the families of the Bride and Groom, the cost is completely covered! We would love it if everyone joined us for the weekend and wanted to remove as many obstacles as possible. Plus-- who doesn't love late night campfires!?!

Question

Is there a dress code? Isn't this a summer camp?

Answer

While the event is held at a summer camp we would love it if you still celebrated dressed to impress like any other wedding :) The groom and groomsmen will be donning tuxes and bride and bridesladies in gowns.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. We are covering the cost for all to stay overnight Saturday and Sunday at Camp Canadensis but do have preferred hotels for those of you who are less adventurous 😜; one is more Inn style, but it very close ( ~15 min away) with approx 30 rooms; some single King, some double Queen/Full. The other option is a Fairfield by Marriott in E. Stroudsberg slightly more out of the way (~35 min.) but the more adequate and still cost effective option in the area. First come, first served :) Most of the hotels are not accepting room blocks due to the holiday weekend.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1, 2021 at the latest. Please make sure to clarify as to whether you are staying on camp and how you will participate so we can firm up a schedule.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 3:30-3:45 to grab a drink, make yourself comfortable, and get all the photo taking out of your system! (This is an unplugged ceremony, please). If you’re staying, come as early as 2pm or 3pm to check in, set up your bunk, and walk over.

Question

Can We BYO Alcohol/ Beer/ Wine?

Answer

Yes! Technically during the reception we have bartenders who will be serving drinks, but outside of those few hours you can enjoy whatever you want and leave it in your bunks or we’ll have coolers etc to keep your stuff cold + mixers 🥂

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Mostly Yes! We are inviting guests with young children because, well, it seemed rude to have a summer camp without including the kids! Plus, duh, we love your kids and want them to be a part of our special day too! Looking into babysitting options to help out, but the camp said their counselors won't be available to help, unfortunately :( We do have full access to the movie theatre the whole time, as well as indoor spaces like the "studio" and pavillion/ court which could be great for keeping them corralled (but running around ;) ) Please let us know if you'd like to bring a babysitter/nanny to help and we can discuss accommodations.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES PLEASE!!! We don't want anyone going hungry this weekend. Please make sure to note your allergy or preference in advance so we can plan accordingly. The chef is accustomed to gluten free, nut free, shellfish free etc.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you are only joining us for the ceremony/ reception, please park next to the horse stables by the entrance and walk to the dining hall. If anyone in your party needs assistance, please let us know ahead of time and we will be happy to arrange a golf cart pickup or for you to drive to the dining hall and do a drop off for members unable to walk.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have secured a shuttle bus service that will provide a ride to and from the aforementioned hotels. This shuttle will only stop at those two hotels. There is also Uber available in the area for those choosing not to stay at camp with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a date if you were invited with one. We’ve gone to great lengths to invite as many people as possible and their significant others. Reach out if you think there was an error on your invitation! 💛
