House Or Rental
The camp hosts hundreds of children so many of the cabins are built to sleep up to 18 guests. Fortunately, there are many cabins available to us and sharing will be kept to a minimum but you will likely be with friends; You can share with specific guests ,just leave a note when you RSVP. Each cabin comes with 2+ full bathrooms with continuous hot water (tankless!), but full disclosure the cabins are pretty rustic and are not heated/ AC. With comfortable temperatures in May, we are hoping to not have to worry! Be sure to CHECK the WEATHER before packing. Since this is a summer camp, and children BRING THEIR OWN SHEETS, BLANKETS & PILLOWS, we ask that you too bring your own. Camp Canadensis DOES NOT HAVE WIFI CONNECTION, which we think will give our guests an authentic camp experience and hopefully help to ensure full engagement in the fun activities. Cell service can be spotty, however, those of you with AT&T will have better cell service than others. Again this is free as our guest
Travel Note
We encourage you to pack as if you are going to sleep away camp but here is a checklist of essentials and suggestions. If you forget items, we'll have a “Supply Station” located in the middle level of the Lake Deck. We've included “beach/camping chairs” because most cabins have lakeview porches & for lounging at the beach, pool, bonfire. We hope the heated pool will be open but the camp is not yet promising. Extra Blanket Bathing suit/ beach towel Beach/Camping chair *Reusable water bottle* Flashlight Bug spray Shampoo/ Conditioner/ Soap/Toiletries Rain Boots, Umbrella, Rain Jacket Extra snacks/ drinks. Filtered water stations are throughout camp & we'll have snacks & wine/beer, but you’re welcome to bring your own favorites! (There won’t be bunk inspections.)
