In keeping with Taiwanese and Japanese wedding traditions, red envelopes are warmly appreciated in place of a traditional registry, though they are entirely optional. If you would like to contribute in this way, your kindness will help us build our first home together.
P.S. For those who enjoy cultural traditions, Taiwanese and Japanese wedding customs come with a bit of numerology. Amounts containing the number 4 are often avoided, auspicious numbers are favored, and Japanese tradition sometimes prefers gift amounts that cannot be evenly divided, symbolizing a marriage that stays together. Consider these customs rather than rules—we are simply thankful to celebrate with you.
