Aspen Airport (ASE)

Aspen Airport is the closest option, just 30 minutes from our hotels in Basalt and Snowmass. It’s incredibly convenient, but flights can be more limited and pricier compared to other airports. If you’d like to stay right in Aspen, there are also Airbnb and VRBO rentals nearby. We recommend booking early to lock in the best fares.

Eagle Airport, located just outside of Vail, is about a 1-hour drive (51 miles) to Basalt and Snowmass. Flights here are often more affordable than Aspen, and rental cars are easily available. This is a great balance of price and convenience if you don’t mind a short, scenic drive.

Denver Airport (DEN)

Denver International Airport is about 3 hours and 45 minutes away (140 miles). It’s usually the most affordable airport, with many flight options. From Denver, you’ll need to rent a car, but the drive is gorgeous—winding through canyons and mountain towns like Vail and Breckenridge. Think of it as part of the adventure!
