ASPEN/PITKIN COUNTY AIRPORT (ASE)

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is the most convenient option for arriving in Aspen/Snowmass. Most hotels offer complimentary airport shuttles, and rental cars are available onsite. You can also take the free local bus to Aspen/Snowmass or pay $3 to get to Basalt. Eagle County Regional Airport

Alternatively you can fly into Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), Aspen is about a 1.5-hour drive away. The route along I-70 through Glenwood Canyon is incredibly scenic, with stunning views of the Colorado River and canyon walls. We recommend renting a car or arranging a pickup in advance. Rental car companies are located at the airport.

DRIVING FROM DENVER

Driving through Colorado in the summertime is beautiful. If you choose to fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) and rent a car, the drive to Aspen/Snowmass takes approximately 3.5 hours. You can reach the area via I-70 through Glenwood Springs or by taking the scenic Independence Pass. Independence Pass is a stunning drive, but be sure to check the weather and road conditions in advance. If you're staying in Basalt, we recommend taking I-70 for the most convenient route.
