We are beyond excited to celebrate with you in the colorful state of Colorado! You'll be staying at an elevation above 8,000 ft. while in Aspen/Snowmass or 6,000ft. while in Basalt. Here are a few recommendations to help acclimate to the higher elevation so you may enjoy the entire wedding weekend of activities! * Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Begin drinking lots of water (2-3) days prior to your arrival in Colorado and continuously throughout your stay. * If your schedule and budget allow, plan to arrive (1-2) days prior to the BIG day to allow your body to adjust gradually to the substantial increase in altitude. * Alcohol will affect you faster than normal. (1) drink = (3) drinks. Your body will process alcohol faster than at home. We highly encourage you to review the link provided below for additional tips and tricks to altitude acclimation! https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/altitude-sickness.html
