Our first "big" trip together over the holidays. We drove the coast from San Diego to San Francisco and had an amazing time learning to road trip together and love it!

Nick really wanted to pick up all of the west coast living hobbies..including snowboarding in Tahoe..this photo was before Katie broke her arm on run #2. Still trying though : )

This is when we tried to celebrate "crazy" aunt Laurie's big milestone birthday in Cabo, but a tropical storm got in the way. So Nick and Brian got quality time in LA. We still have not been to Cabo

Baltimore wedding adventures and meetings more key friends. Pirate boats and temporary tattoos were involved...don't judge!

We started learning to sail on tiny Lake Merritt in downtown Oakland, but I think Nick's true love for the water developed on our sunset sail off Catalina Island.

Joshua Tree...terrified of the potential snakes/scorpions, but all we found were great friends and really cool trees.

Allie's 30th on Lake Tahoe and Nick's inaugural use of the sailor cap...many more to come.

We ventured to the other side of the world for Cole & Chris's wedding, and beforehand hit winter in Cape Town, SA.
