CHARLOTTE GUIDE Whether you're looking for great food, outdoor adventure, or local favorites, we've put together a list of some of our must-visit spots in Charlotte!

South End

Charlotte, NC 28203

Just a short ride from Uptown, South End is one of Charlotte’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods—perfect for a day of exploring. Known for its art-filled alleys, local breweries, trendy boutiques, and a booming food scene, South End offers something for everyone. Getting there is easy: hop on the LYNX Blue Line and ride just a few stops south from Uptown. For a more scenic route, stroll or bike down the Rail Trail—a 3.5-mile urban path that runs alongside the light rail, connecting Uptown to South End and beyond. Along the way, you’ll pass murals, green spaces, and pop-up vendors that capture the creative energy of the city. A few of our favorite spots include drinks at Dilworth Tasting Room or Trolley Barn, fajitas at Superica, craft brews at Monday Night Brewery, and coffee or beers at Wooden Robot. For shopping and a true taste of South End charm, don’t miss Atherton Mill.
