The Resort SHOULD be able to accommodate all guests. Please email your rooming preferences to Sonya at schyerinspired@gmail.com. The resort is only open for our wedding so no outside guests will be able to book. Details about rooming options are available at www.lakedale.com. Prices are specific to our event and will be emailed in May. All payment will be collected by Lakedale Resort at check-in. If you'd like to book additional nights please reach out to us as we have reserved some accommodations for Thursday as well. We really want our friends and family to be together for the weekend, to enjoy each other and this wonderful resort. Please plan on arriving on Friday October 1st and leaving Sunday October 3rd. We have organized activities throughout the weekend but you are welcome to explore all the island has to offer whenever you wish.
Flight
Seattle/Tacoma (SEA-TAC) or Bellingham
Flying to Sea-Tac is presumably the easiest and most affordable. Bellingham may be easier if you just want to rent a car and avoid Seattle traffic. Sea-Tac to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal is at least a 2 hour drive plus a lot more with traffic, Bellingham is 1 hour from the ferry terminal. Also there is Everett Paine Field.
Rental Car
Rental Car/ Ferry OPTION
Rent a car from the airport for the weekend (about $70 from Sea-Tac on Kayak), drive to Anacortes Ferry Terminal. Ferry is around $50-$70 for car and driver, additional $13.75 for passengers and walk-ons. We will help arrange walk-ons pick up from Friday Harbor to Lakedale.
Flight
Seaplane or Commuter Plane Option
Seaplane to San Juan Island from South Lake Union in Seattle (shuttle from airports available) Please check the visit San Juan Island website for details. Price is about $149-159 per person one way Commuter Plane from Bellingham is about a 30 minute flight for around $96 one way
Travel Note
Shuttle from airports to Ferry Terminal OPTION
There are airport shuttles from the airports to Anacortes Ferry Terminal, Sea-Tac to Anacortes is between $66-85 round trip per person plus the price of the ferry ($13.75). We will be helping to arrange pick up from the ferry terminal in Friday Harbor to Lakedale Resort. Please check the visit San Juan website for more details.
