Shuttle Bus for the Wedding

Shuttle buses will be picking up guests from the Courtyard, the Fairfield Inn - Charlottesville North, the Fairfield Inn - Charlottesville Downtown, and the Omni before the wedding and dropping guests back off at the hotels after the reception. As a reminder, since our venue is in a more remote location, guests WILL NOT be able to get Ubers/ Lyfts home after the reception and are encouraged to utilize the transportation we are providing. See the complete bus schedule below. Buses will be leaving promptly at the times listed, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early so you don't miss them! Please take note of which bus you take as not every bus will be going to every hotel at the end of the night. Ambassador Limousine Bus #1 3:30pm: Pick up at the Courtyard by Marriott, 638 Hillsdale Dr. Ambassador Limousine Bus #2 3:15pm: Pick Up at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlottesville Downtown, 401 Cherry Ave. 3:30pm: Pick Up at the Omni Charlottesville (Water Street and Omni Bus Stop), 212 Ridge McIntire Rd Ambassador Limousine Bus #3 3:30pm: Pick Up at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlottesville North, 577 Branchlands Blvd All buses will arrive at The Market at Grelen at 4:15pm for the ceremony. All buses will be departing from the Market at Grelen at 11pm after the send off and traveling to individually assigned hotels. Please check with the bus driver to confirm you are on the correct bus going home.

The Fairfield Inn - Charlottesville North is about 15 minutes from Downtown Charlottesville and about 35 minutes from our wedding venue, The Market at Grelen. The bus will be picking up guests from the Fairfield Inn North prompting at 3:30pm.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlottesville Downtown/University Area
The Fairfield Inn - Charlottesville Downtown is less than a mile from Downtown Charlottesville or about 5 minutes driving. It is 42 minutes from our wedding venue, The Market at Grelen. This is the closest hotel to the downtown area and restaurant where we will be meeting for welcome drinks on Thursday evening. The bus will be pick up guests from the Fairfield Inn Downtown promptly at 3:15pm.

Comfort Inn & Suites Orange - Montpelier
The Comfort Inn is north of both our wedding venue and Charlottesville. It is about 40 minutes from Downtown Charlottesville but only about 15 minutes from our wedding venue, The Market at Grelen. Due to the location of this hotel, the bus WILL NOT be making a stop here. However, this would be a great option for guests who plan to drive themselves to the wedding, as it is the closest hotel option to the venue.

Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO)
The Charlottesville Airport is about 15 minutes from our recommended hotels and about 25 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. Although this is a smaller airport, this would be most convenient for those planning to spend the weekend exploring Charlottesville after the wedding!

Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Dulles is the largest airport in the area and will mostly likely have the highest number of direct flights available. That said, it is roughly a 2 hour drive to our recommended hotels from the airport.

Reagan National Airport (DCA)
DCA is our "home" airport located only about 10 minutes from our apartments in Arlington (and only 10 minutes from The National Mall). This airport is about 2 and a half hours from our recommended hotels in Charlottesville. However, this would be a great option for those planning to spend the remainder of the weekend exploring DC after the wedding!
