We are so excited to celebrate with you! If you are planning to use our wedding as an excuse for a weekend trip, here are a few recommendations for things to do! The Central Virginia Piedmont Region is full of historic sites, beautiful rolling hills, and too many great wineries to count. While you're in town, we encourage you to take some time to explore the Charlottesville area and the Downtown Mall! Charlottesville is home to the University of Virginia's main campus, as well as many historic sites including Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello and James Madison's home, Montpelier.

Montpelier is located only 4 miles away from our wedding venue. It's open 7 days a week and tickets are available for purchase on the Montpelier website.

Thomas Jefferson's Monticello

Monticello is only 4 miles from the Downtown Mall. Tickets are available for purchase on the Monticello website.

If you're feeling extra adventurous, Jacqua's alma mater is about an hour drive from Charlottesville.

Passion City Church DC

If the countryside isn't your thing, Washington, D.C. is about a 2 ½ hour drive from Charlottesville. While you're there, we would love to invite you to check out our church where we met! Gathering times are at 9:30am and 11:30am and free garage parking is available.
