A Message to Our Family and Friends:

This wedding day was made possible not only by the love we have for each other, but also by the love that our closest friends and family have for us. Each of you has held a strong role in our lives. We would not be the same without your time, friendship, love, compassion, and support for us as individuals and as a couple. We sincerely hope you enjoy this special day with us as we celebrate our marriage.

From Boston to Baltimore

Jessica found Kevin's profile on OKCupid when she was 20 years old, about to start her first co-op during PT school. Kevin's profile picture caught her eye, featuring a fit young man in a Cornell t-shirt holding an axe in front of a fire truck. "A smart volunteer fireman," she said. Little did she know, he was a scientist and just posing in front of his now-best man's fire station. He was about to delete his dating profile, feeling defeated after several bad dates. But Jessica caught his eye. Kevin was going to Boston for the Harvard Aging Symposium, so Jessica proposed a coffee date. They ended up at the Cheesecake Factory in the Prudential Center. Jessica sat by the Christian Science Center Reflecting Pool and told Kevin to buy 2 pieces of cheesecake and "come out back." Kevin, of course, arrived 35 minutes late, afraid he was about to be murdered by a 400 pound stranger. But he was very impressed by Jessica in her blue dress. They sat, talked for hours, and kissed. Kevin even asked for a second date, and walked Jessica down Mass Ave to her apartment on this summer evening. He kissed her good night, realized he missed the train, and was collected by his mother in the heart of Boston in the early hours of the morning. This was the start of many adventures, ultimately leading to Towson, Maryland where Kevin proposed to Jess. Since then, the two have moved to Baltimore, Jess bought her first new car and changed jobs to work in private practice PT, Kevin left his post-doctorate position at Johns Hopkins University to pursue a career as a technical sales specialist, and they have fallen more in love with each other and their rescue dog, Tay.
