Fort Fisher State Recreation Area

If your a history buff, just a 9 minute drive south of us is Fort Fisher which you'll find a monument, old Bunker, and an aquarium, all along a rocky shore.

Island Burgers & Bites

Island Burgers & Bites is one of our favorite "hole in the wall" burger joints, they used to be inside of a gas station and just recently opened their own place. Highest recommendations, you will not be disappointed.

If your looking for a phenomenal burger and brews, one of our favorites is Mess Hall.

Good Hops Brewing

The closest brewery if you'd like to stay within Carolina Beach.

Flying Machine Brewing Company

Located in Wilmington, Flying Machine Brewing offers a great selection of beers with a great outdoor area near a pond and walking path. Typically a food truck on site as well.

Waterman's Brewing

Waterman's Brewing is also one of our favorite spots. They serve food, but their beer selection is diverse. Great outdoor seating as well.
