When should I RSVP by?

All RSVP's need to be submitted by June 1st, 2025.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
All plus ones will be noted on your invitation. Due to venue capacity, we will only be able to accommodate a certain number of guests and therefore cannot add anyone else to your invite.
Question
How long is everyone staying?
Answer
This is completely up to you, but make sure you make accommodations for the big wedding day on that Tuesday, 8/26. Erin & Zak will be staying Saturday 8/23 through Thursday 8/28. Due to the majority of the attendee's needing to travel and the wedding being on a Tuesday, we do encourage everyone to stay for all 5 days if possible so you can make the most out of your trip. Please see the schedule tab to plan accordingly. An important event we're planning is a Bachelor / Bachelorette party on Sunday 8/24, where everyone is invited and we hope everyone will attend!

What should I expect while in Carolina Beach?
Answer
We’re thrilled to have you join us for our intimate wedding, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. We're taking a non-traditional approach to our wedding, prioritizing quality time with the people we love most. You can expect a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can create their own memories while celebrating with us. We’ve provided an itinerary (see itinerary page) that includes both required events and free time that you'll have to explore. We also have a recommendations page for some nearby spots and a few of our local favorites. We encourage you to explore Carolina Beach and Wilmington at your own pace. Whether you want to relax on the sand, check out local shops, or try some fresh seafood, this trip is as much your vacation as it is our special celebration. For meals, unless otherwise specified in the itinerary, feel free to try out the amazing restaurants in the area or hit the nearby grocery store for meals / snacks. Your more than welcome to use one of the kitchens at the Wedding Venue house if your spending your free time there too. However, we want you to take this time to soak in the beach vibes, enjoy the company of friends and family, and make the most of your stay. We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Should we rent a car during our stay?
Answer
We don't believe anyone will need a vehicle as most of activities will be within the area or a short Uber drive away; however, if you think it'll be convenient for you to have one, then your more than welcome to do so. Golf cart rentals are also an option - these are street legal in Carolina Beach and much cheaper to rent - navigate to the Travel section of the website for recommendations.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding will be on the beach and "toes in the sand", so we encourage comfortable formal attire! Think breezy dresses, button-ups, linen pants, or sandals—whatever makes you feel stylish and relaxed. We kindly ask that you skip T-shirts and jeans for this special occasion.

Are children allowed at the wedding?
Answer
Although we love all of your kiddos, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event. This is not only to accommodate for venue capacity but also to allow our favorite moms and dads to enjoy a few nights away!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
There are many options in the Carolina Beach area. Take a look at the "Travel" page for hotels nearest the venue! You can also find local Airbnb and VRBO homes around Carolina Beach.

Is there a Wedding Block at any of the recommended Hotels?
Answer
Unfortunately no. Due to the number of guests, we were not able to provide a block or discounted rate. However, most may offer their own discounted rate through online booking websites.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
The venue has enough space for 9 vehicles and a paid lot right down the road to park at if the driveways are full. Paid lot address: 1622 Lake Park Blvd S, Carolina Beach, NC 28428
