It will be cold!

We met almost 5 years ago at a college Disco Party in San Luis Obispo where we both went to school. Chris saw Grace dancing her heart out across the room and couldn't help but go introduce himself. She could not resist his classic Ralph Lauren "house jacket", which he now describes as looking like a shag rug, and they spent the rest of the night dancing and talking. Thankfully, as we parted ways for the evening, Chris asked for Grace's number, saying we should meet up for a hike sometime given our shared love of the outdoors. True to his word, Chris texted Grace a few days later inviting her on a hike up Bishops Peak, a local favorite. We met up the next weekend for what would turn out to be the first of many hikes and enjoyed getting to know one another even better. From that point on, we have pretty much continued to hike and spend time together.

Chris joined Grace on a last minute trip to San Luis Obispo to enjoy some time in the sun after their first winter in Utah. It was going to be a pretty quick trip, but there are a few things that we have to do everytime we are in the area. One of those things is spend some time on the beach. While sitting, enjoying the familiar sights and sounds of the ocean and watching our dog play in the sand, Chris asked Grace to marry him and she said yes! They spent the rest of the day wine tasting and celebrating the next chapter of their lives together.
