The dress code is Wedding Casual. There is no need to be uncomfortable at our wedding, we want people to have fun! Come as yourself in your best dressed casual attire.
While we wish that we could have as many people as possible at our wedding, we do have to limit the number of guests. If your invitation was addressed as "You and Guest" then a plus one is welcome to join you! If your invitation was addressed as "You," then please respect our limits and come as yourself.
While we wish that we could have everyone's families at our wedding, we do need to limit the number of guests. If your invitation was addressed as "You and Family" then your children are invited and we hope to see them attend! If your invitation was addressed as "You" then please respect our wishes and leave the kids with a sitter.
We are registered! You can find our list under the "Registry" tab on our wedding website.
There is luckily a lot of lodging options in Sheridan! We have reserved a block of rooms at both the Best Western hotel and the Ramada Plaza, but you can see more details under the "Travel" tab on our wedding website. You can also find recommendations for activities in town and places to eat under the "Things To Do" tab on our wedding website.
We ask that during our ceremony you refrain from taking pictures. We will have our photographer covering the whole ceremony and will post pictures that you can see. Please just sit back, relax, and be in the moment with us as we say "I Do." For social media, please post pictures that you take before or after the ceremony! Tag us in your pictures and use our hashtag #mnmwedding2022 so we can see them too!
While there are other events that will be happening the week of the wedding, we kindly ask that you respect our wishes and only attend if you were invited to those other events. We highly recommend that you check out other activities in town under our "Things To Do" tab on our wedding website.
We would recommend arriving at the ceremony 15 to 20 minutes before the time listed on your invitation. This will ensure that you find a comfortable seat, can visit the facilities, and not chance being late.
The reception will happen at the same venue as the ceremony, The Brinton Museum. It will be in a different spot on the grounds of the venue, but guides will be posted to help direct you.
Yes! After the ceremony, guests are encouraged to enjoy appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour, sign our guest book, take pictures, and answer a questionnaire that will be used in a game during our reception!
Yes! Parking at the Brinton Museum is free. There will be guides posted on the grounds to help direct you to the best parking available.
At the Brinton Museum, all events will be held outdoors. The reception will be held under the venue's event tent to help protect from possible rain, but please come prepared for all possible weather scenarios. It will be July in Wyoming meaning that it will probably be hot. There will be water and fans provided for guests during the ceremony. But, be prepared for possible rain and wind and plan ahead by checking the daily forecast and bringing a jacket or sweater.
Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour such as cheeses and fruits. Dinner will be served buffet-style and feature pasta and salad. If you have any dietary restrictions, please reach out to the bride or groom so that accommodations can be arranged with the caterer.
Per the venue's policy, the reception will end at 11:00 p.m. There will not be a formal after-party, however, if you still wish to dance the night away after that, there are options for night-life in Sheridan such as the Mint Bar or Blacktooth Brewery.
Unfortunately, our wedding will have a cash bar for wine, beer, cocktails, and canned drinks. There will, however, be some free beer donated by Broken Compass Brewery in Breckenridge, CO. It is limited so it will be first come first serve. There will also be water, iced tea, and lemonade for free non-alcoholic drinks.
