Now, grind rock salt until it resembles table salt. Rinse and repeat until the bowl of the molcajete is \"smooth\". Now you're ready to season it by grinding four cloves of garlic, 1 tsp. Of whole cumin and 1 tsp. Each of of salt and pepper. Allow this mixture to sit for 24 hours. Rinse and dry. Your molcajete is now ready for your first batch.
