What about COVID?

Answer

In response to the ongoing pandemic, our wedding plans have changed. Please know that these plans are not final, and we are paying very close attention to the ever-changing restrictions and guidance surrounding COVID-19. Your health and safety is the most important thing to us, and even though we can't wait to see you, we believe in science and will definitely be cautious. Some things we believe will be true at our wedding: 1. There will be no more than 64 guests at our wedding. 2. The entire wedding (ceremony, reception, after party) will be taking place outdoors. 3. We will be requiring masks to be worn at all times unless you are eating or drinking. 4. Hand sanitizer will be everywhere! 5. We will be distancing guests whenever and wherever possible - and have a plan to make sure the whole thing is still a blast! Have questions or concerns? Give us a call! Where should I stay?

Answer

Our wedding is at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, Oregon. Troutdale is 20 minutes from PDX airport. If you're staying in Portland, we recommend staying on the East side of the river to avoid having to cross it. Out of towners - Alberta, Sellwood, Belmont, and Mississippi are some neighborhoods that are nice and walkable to spend your time in. There are several hotels and Air BnB's in Troutdale for you to stay in as well. We do have a couple of rooms in our room block at Edgefield for 7/24/2021, so please check the Travel tab to book those if you're interested!

Where exactly IS the wedding?

Answer

Edgefield is a big place, and while there will be signs directing you to our location, it's possible to get lost! We are having our ceremony and reception at the Administrator's House, which is directly across from the main hotel at Edgefield.

What about Parking?

Answer

Edgefield is notoriously crowded on weekends, and it's also possible there will be a concert there which would bring even more people in. If at all possible to use rideshares, carpools (link here to our official carpool for our guests: http://www.groupcarpool.com/t/kexvgt), public transportation, or even bikes, we highly recommend it! Parking can be limited at Edgefield.

Dress Code?

Answer

It's summer in Portland! Wear something that makes you comfortable and that you can dance in! Keep in mind that our dance floor is brick - super high heels may be ill-advised!
