How we met

Like a lot of modern love stories, ours started on Hinge (lol) from the very beginning something felt special, our messages weren’t the typical small talk; They were long, thoughtful, and surprisingly honest. We’d send paragraphs instead of one-liners. The conversation flowed so easily. When he asked me out for coffee on a Thursday, I thought, “Why not?” Low pressure, casual. But when he suggested a coffee shop in Seaport, I remember thinking this better be the best coffee date of my life… especially since I was about to spend $50 on parking. What I didn’t expect was how intentional he already was. Knowing how much I love painting, he had secretly planned more than just coffee. He surprised me with tickets to the ICA. That small, thoughtful detail told me everything. From the moment we met in person, it just clicked. There was no awkwardness, no trying too hard. It felt easy and natural. After the museum, we weren’t ready for the night to end, so we grabbed dinner at Borrachito (we both LOVE Mexican food). One margarita turned into discovering the speakeasy behind the restaurant… which somehow turned into us ending up at a random bachata class on a Thursday night. It was spontaneous, little chaotic and completely perfect. I got home at 1 a.m., couldn't find street parking, and woke up to a parking ticket the next morning. And honestly? Totally worth it. The rest is history. What started as a simple coffee date turned into something neither of us saw coming. We’ve been inseparable ever since. And I wouldn’t change a single thing. ❤️
