Things To Do

To our friends and family travelling from interstate, below are some of our favourite spots for things to see, places to eat, and bars to enjoy while you’re in town.

---- ACTIVITIES ----

Peter Kingston Walkway

Peter Kingston Walkway, Lavender Bay, NSW 2060, Australia

A short walk for amazing views of Sydney Harbour

Bronte Baths

Bronte Road, Bronte, NSW 2024, Australia

Bronte Beach and Baths are worth visiting for a swim (versus the very busy Bondi and Coogee)

Bondi to Coogee Walk

Coogee, NSW 2034, Australia

A must-do walk if you have the time (6km one-way, 2-3 hours).

Taronga Zoo Sydney

Bradleys Head Road, Mosman, NSW 2088, Australia

Taronga Zoo is set right on the harbour with amazing views back over the city. Hop on a ferry from Circular Quay to the zoo wharf, then it’s a short walk or cable car up to the entrance with great views the whole way. Recently visited with Layla and Allegra.

Manly Fast Ferry

Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia

The Manly fast ferry is a quick and easy way to get across the harbour. Departing from Circular Quay, the trip takes around 20 minutes. You can expect beautiful harbour views along the way, passing the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and out towards the heads before arriving at Manly. Plenty of places to eat and things to see in Manly.

The Grounds of Alexandria

2 Huntley Street, Alexandria, NSW 2015, Australia

Popular café and garden space known for its outdoor areas, themed displays, and great coffee and food. Nice afternoon visit.
