"Rehearsal" Meet and Greet

10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Andres and Zoe's House (Bride's Parents)
4HM8+XQ6 Puerto Ferro, Vieques,

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to shorts and tees. Be comfortable and ready for the heat, think BBQ attire.

Christmas in April? The roasting of a pig over fire is an old tradition in our family... usually during Christmas or New Years Eve, but really for any reason to celebrate. This is an all day event, the pig cooks at a slow pace for 6-8hrs. You are more than welcome to come in when you want/arrive. Come by early and watch the pig roasting process; have some traditional bacalaitos, buñuelos and pastelillos; or come in later in the afternoon when everything is ready and it's time to eat. If I know my family this will turn out to be the pre-wedding party and we will try not to repeat history and drink all the booze for the wedding at the "rehearsal" (it has happened before, wink wink). We can't wait to host all of you! *Click on "4HM8+XQ6 Puerto Ferro, Vieques" above for driving directions* Menu Lechón-Pig Roast Arroz con Gandules-Rice with Pigeon Peas Ensalada-Salad Fried traditional items: bacalaitos (cod fritters), buñuelos (ñame fritters), pastelillos (turnovers), and some others.
