FAQs

Question

I want to camp, what do I need to bring?

Answer

Bring a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat and pillow plus some extra clothing, and maybe a portable phone charger. Your food and drinks will be provided but you can certainly bring some extra snacks or a water bottle along if you'd like. If you don't have all the gear you need, you can rent it from REI in Seattle.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

As much as we love all of your dogs please leave them at home, or if you're traveling and need help finding a sitter let us know and we will do our best to help out. Our dog & flower girl, Dahlia, will be at the wedding so at least we can all get our canine fix.

Question

I have a dietary restriction, what will I eat?

Answer

If you are vegetarian, kosher, or allergic to nuts, or gluten free there should be plenty to keep you full and happy. If you are vegan, paleo, keto or have some other dietary restriction or allergy please let us know. Our menu, like our typical diet, is very carb and dairy heavy.

Question

Can I bring my RV?

Answer

Of Course! There are no hookups, but you're more than welcome to stay in your RV.

Question

I'm camping, should I wear my fleece/flannel/yoga pants/ripped jeans to the wedding?

Answer

Once dancing winds down for the night please feel free, but we're requesting cocktail attire for the rest of the evening's festivities.

Question

Should I wear my stilettos or high heels?

Answer

We'd highly advise against wearing them. The wedding will be taking place in a field that isn't entirely flat. A low wedge should be fine but wear shoes that are comfortable and that you can walk in and keep in mind that the grass is a bit pokey- unfortunately we're unable to turn a farm field into lush green golf course grass, as much as we'd like to!

Question

Can I help with anything/bring anything to help?

Answer

Your presence is all we ask! If you'd really like to help we do have a small group helping us to set up in the days before the wedding and clean up the day after. If you're interested in being involved just let us know. Otherwise there are a few items we might be looking to borrow such as: large coolers, drink dispensers, yard games, things to keep the kids entertained, extra camping gear for those who might need it, etc. If you have something that you think might be useful that you'd be willing to lend for the weekend please feel free to reach out!

Question

Should I bring my kids?

Answer

It's up to you, but they are more than welcome! We will have a sitter available so you can drop them off for a bit if they need a nap or are getting restless and want to go play. Ideally the kids will just stay with the sitter for an hour or two and spend the rest of the time with you! The sitters are paid but feel free to give an extra tip if your kid has a great time in their care!

For all the days along the way
