Megan and I met the day she was born! It’s too hard to pick a single favorite memory after 30 years together! Some of my favorites are our vacations in Martha’s Vineyard, London, Florida, and Yellowstone. Visiting each other in college and taking you to parties when you were only 15. 😂 Concerts. Having Megan as Rory’s godmother! 🩷 If I were to send Megan and Thom somewhere on their honeymoon, I would pick Japan! It’s Megan's dream trip!

my fav memory with megan is getting banh tieu and banh bo together on our first day in vietnam walking to the coffee shop and meeting up with my parents and family! honeymoon is such a tough question since they've been to so many places together already! i feel like they would love hiking and sightseeing in iceland and seeing the natural hot springs there or somewhere nice and tropical 🐠or maybe rome if she hasn't been already!

I remember being 17 visiting megan at UVM thinking I was very cool being a junior in high school and all staying at her apartment. That night I met my sisters new boyfriend Thom and they had been dating for about a month or two, a young budding relationship! He was very nice fella! It is funny to think back to that weekend visiting my sister that I would be introducing myself to my sisters life partner who I have grown to love as well!

Megan took my CycleBar class one day and then walked into my Pure Barre class the very next morning, totally unaware she was about to take class with me twice in 24 hours. 😂 When she realized I was the same instructor from the day before, we laughed about it and basically became instant friends on the spot. And then we found out we were next door neighbors! My favorite memory with Megan has to be my bachelorette party! A weekend full of fun, unforgettable memories and good vibes. Now I can’t wait to make more memories and celebrate Megan at her bachelorette next! 💍 I’m biased toward Italy because I’m a sucker for pasta, romance, and wine. But if we’re talking something really unique, Japan would be incredible. Everyone I know who goes comes back raving about how amazing it is!

The first time I met Thom was at the Boys & Girls Club Preschool. There we bonded over eating rectangular pizza (the best btw), and snow underneath the playground. He kept eating yellow snow and I had to break the bad news to him. 🤣 (you can take the last part out). My favorite memory with Thom would definitely be scaling the buildings in downtown Burlington at 3am in the morning with our buddies. COMPLETELY sober. 🤣 Definitely "Big Island" Hawaii. Go explore the underground lava tubes and beautiful hikes. Also, a MUST, to go snorkeling with the manta rays!

Megan and I met in Ecuador in 2017. We were taking a travel study course together while studying at UVM. We clicked right from the start, and she was my go-to girl for the entire trip. The trip itself was magical, but I'm so happy to have made one of the very best friends because of it. It's really hard to choose a favorite memory with Megan because she makes even the smallest activities magical. But if I had to choose one, it would probably be our trip to Spain. Strolling through the idyllic mountainside village of Ronda, dancing in the streets of Barcelona, eating our hearts out the entire time. There is never a dull moment with Megan, and we certainly never go hungry ! If I were choosing where to send Megan and Thom on their honeymoon, it would selfishly be to France so I could crash. No, in all seriousness, it would have to be somewhere naturally beautiful, full of adventure, and somewhere neither of them have been yet. I think an island would suit them - colorful beaches, luscious greenery, mountains, rich culture, delicious food. There is the island of Corsica in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands off the coast of Northwestern Africa, or even the Azores islands in the Mid-Atlantic that all the Europeans rave about anyways.

First time we met was either at one of your house parties or basketball at the church. Got a few great memories with you, like going to the gun range (I still have the AR-15 you sold me) starting an Amazon Business that failed terribly😂 and playing cards and drinking with the boys every week. I would send you guys to Phuket on your honeymoon since I know you guys love Thailand.

Megan and I met through a Facebook girls meet up group in Denver at a poppin place called Happy Camper. Within moments, both of our bubbly and talkative personalities clicked — I knew we would be friends!! The very next day, we went for a hike (fun fact: with Emily, other bridesmaid!) and continued getting to know each other on a deeper level. I discovered Megan was not only sunshine in human form, but also a deeply compassionate and pure hearted soul!! Megan and I shared countless adventures together out on the town and exploring new places in Denver, but when I reflect on my favorite times, I think of our weekly Tuesday nights at the wine bar, Postino, a favorite place where us girls would gather to talk about our weeks and unwind after a long day at work. I’d get to hear about Megan’s week of teaching social studies to high school freshmen, the workout classes she had been to that week, the trips she had recently taken with Thom, the new skill she had picked up, the meals she had meal prepped, and so on. When we first started these, I learned just how incredible Megan is at making the most at every second of her life, filling her days with fulfilling, joyful, and purposeful things. Where I think she and Thom should honeymoon: safari in Africa!!

My family and Thom’s family have known each other since the early 2000’s! Thom had taught me a terrifying skateboarding trick that still scares him whenever I tried making attempts. If I could pick where to send Thom and Megan on their honeymoon I’d pick Cabo San Lucas!

Megan and I met on a chilly evening in Denver at Happy Camper! We bonded that night over a shared love of the outdoors which was realized on a hike a couple of days later. Since then we have shared so many treasured memories, including my personal favorites which were either Jazz in the Park or the day we went to the farmer’s market right before we left Denver! It was so fun to dream about what our lives in our new states would look like and take in the perfect weather! If I could choose where Megan and Thom should honeymoon I would choose Bali!

It sounds a little crazy, but one of my favorite memories with Megan is when we almost fell off a cliff. Two girlies and a doggo at ungodly early hour in the morning, in Colorado winter, decide it’s a great time to go snowshoeing. The roads are slippery, there’s black ice, and we are cruising along… until we hit a black ice patch. The car veers, we nearly go off the side of a cliff in a plummet that surely would not have left survivors, but instead fate was looking out for us, the car veers again and we lightly crash into a boulder on the other side of the road. Everyone is perfectly fine, there is some small scratches on the car, but overall we are extremely extremely lucky. A nice man even comes along in a truck and pulls us out, so we can continue along. We do just that, continue along, go snowshoeing and have a great day together. There are friends in life where a setback or scare like that might have completely deterred the day, but when you are with a true friend even the scary and the hard become that much easier to navigate. Megan and I have been there for each other for the scary, the hard, and through the best of times. I know she will be there right there by my side for anything life brings my way and I will do the same for her. Sometimes it’s the rocky moments (quite literally) that show you who’s there for the long haul. I can’t wait to stand by her side as she navigates the most beautiful chapter ahead and marries the love of her life, Thom.
