Flight
ꕤThe two most convenient airports to fly into are Savannah (SAV) and Hilton Head Island (HHH). The commute from SAV to the venue on Hilton Head is approximately 50 minutes. While the SAV airport is further away, it is larger and may have better flight options. ꕤDue to the "small town" nature of these communities, Ubers and taxis are few and far between. We suggest securing a rental car for ease and flexibility. From SAV airport, we've heard the best rental car spots are Alamo and Enterprise. We've also heard good things about using Costco for car rentals, if you're a member. From HHH airport, we've heard of people using Enterprise. Turo is also very popular for all rental car needs.
Travel Note
ꕤHilton Head is a very popular vacation destination, and so we encourage booking lodging as soon as possible for best availability. :) ꕤListed below are suggestions for accommodations that are most convenient and highly rated, but please know there is also a fine selection of other places to stay on Hilton Head. Vrbo, Airbnb, and local companies such as Vacasa, are also popular options, and are likely the most budget-friendly option for a group! Scroll down for the link to our wedding blocks at Hampton Inn. ꕤLastly, please note the wedding venue is located on what's considered to be the northside of the island. Most of the vacation rentals and hotels are on the south end or middle of the island. The drive between these two places is roughly 20 minutes. -If you have any questions or need additional insight, please reach out to Megan and Thom!
