Our venue is located in the historic Mitchelville area of Hilton Head Island, the site of the first self-governing town for freed African Americans during the Civil War! This remarkable community represents freedom, resilience, and the spirit of independence— and we feel so honored to be wed on such sacred ground. If you have time during your stay, we recommend you walk around Mitchelville Park to learn more about the history and to enjoy nature. The venue is located at the end of Beach City Road, on the north side of the island in the residential and historic Mitchelville neighborhood. Our ceremony and reception overlook Fish Haul Beach. Stop before you hit the ocean! The Hampton Inn is a closeby hotel (where we have hotel blocks- More info on that under 'Travel'). However, please note that most of Hilton Head's vacation rentals, hotels, and poppin touristy areas are in the middle or south middle of the island, closer to Coligny Beach. The drive between our venue to the more popular rental areas is roughly 15 minutes, so we recommend a rental car.
There is designated parking alongside the road where it dead ends, just past Mitchelville Freedom Park. Signage will be available as you approach.
ꕀ Coastal Cocktail ꕀ ꕤWe’re aiming for a look that’s elevated but comfortable. It may be warm and humid, so we encourage light, breathable fabrics and styles that keep you cool. That said, weather on the coast can be highly unpredictable and temperatures may drop at night, so we definitely recommend layering! ꕤFor the beach ceremony: Besides keeping your stilettos at home, we also suggest sunglasses & hat. ꕤIf you’re familiar with the Lowcountry, you know that the beauty of the coast comes with a few pesky companions. We’ll have bug spray available and the property will be treated before the event, but if you have a favorite repellent, you may want to bring it along!

Expect Vietnamese family-style cuisine for dinner, and an open bar will be available!
This is very important to us! Our catering company does their very best to accommodate dietary restrictions! Only one dish will contain nuts. Some will have shellfish, but many will not. If you have serious allergies or dietary restrictions (such as peanut allergy, celiac, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) please include this in your RSVP, or let Megan know as soon as you can @ 774-270-3077.
We love kids and wish they could all be present. However, with our dog Oreo joining us for the celebration and out of an abundance of caution, we kindly ask that toddlers and older children be left at home, unless previously discussed with the bride and groom. Babies are welcome under direct supervision.
