Maid of Honor
We shared the cubby house at pre-school when we were 5. And we are still friends :-) We moved onto primary school, high school and into University together. We have travelled overseas together numerous times since then and love catching up in the school holidays. Lifetime friends make the BEST maid of honours!
Bridesmaid
Sophie and Megan met at Franklin where they became work wives while shaping the minds of the future. Hardly a day goes by without speaking to each other and calling for random tidbits of information and/or gossip. Megan loves being 'Aunty Megs' to Sophie's two gorgeous children!
Bridesmaid
Amy and Megan have known each other for many years, both in West Wyalong and Tumut. They became really close friends when Megan returned from overseas to take a job in Batlow at Amy's school, travelling together each day cemented their relationship and they haven't looked back since!
Bridesmaid
Tamara and Megan had a special bond from day one at University. Living in the same dorm at CSU, they would support each other and enjoy all that uni life had to offer. Tamara was an adopted child into the Gould family for a while, coming on family holidays with them. Their friendship has not changed, even with both moving away from each other for such a long period of time.
Best Man
Curtis and Brendan met in the first few days of Uni in Wagga back in 2010, where they quickly bonded over being boys from the coast this was later solidified by playing rugby together for several years. Even though they haven't lived anywhere near each other they've remained close after uni through many fishing trips and the annual pilgrimage to the beloved Uni Ag races.
Groomsman
Edwin aka Alfy first met Curtis back in 2007 when they both completed the Duke of Edinburgh award. Through mutual friends they were re-united at University and quickly picked up where they left off all those years ago. Their shared love of outdoors with fishing and hunting soon bonded them like brothers and several years later Curtis was honoured with being Alfy's best man at his wedding. If you'd like a tall tale at the wedding please ask Alfy about their many fishing adventures together and he'd be too happy to have a chat.
Groomsman
Laurie and Curtis have been the best of mates since the early years of Candelo primary school and the trauma inducing driving skills of Maureen Kampman, our school bus driver (it's amazing how people bond over near-death experiences). All through high school they were close and were only ever a short 7 kilometre bicycle ride away via the dusty Tantawangalo dirt roads.
Groomsman
Curtis hasn't done the exact math but he thinks the two boys have known each other their whole lives. Curtis being the good-looking one and Grant being the best bigger brother anyone could ask for.
