Please RSVP by the 1st March. Prior to that would also be amazing!
We love your kids, however we want our wedding to be an opportunity for you to have kid-free time. If you need assistance in finding a baby-sitter, please contact Megan, she knows a few babysitters in town.
We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to document our special day, so we ask that you please do not take photos during the ceremony. Don't be that person in between the photographer and the couple during the most important moments! Please do not post any pictures on social media until after the bride and groom have done so.
Please respect our choice of guests and those specifically invited to the wedding. If your invitation says “plus one” then yes, you can bring a plus one. Otherwise we have not catered for others.
No. The ceremony location is approximately a 5 minute drive out of town. Please use your own transport to get between the two. Feel free to car pool with others attending.
At the Showgrounds there is plenty of parking space available, please follow the signs for directions.
Our dress code is cocktail. This means wear appropriate wedding attire that isn't too casual. Cocktail dresses, suit and tie or blazer and chinos will suffice. Please remember to bring a coat or jacket as it will get cool in the evening. Average daytime temperature is 21 C Average night time temperature is 7 C
Following the ceremony, the photographer will take photos of the couple and family members on site. Afterwards (around 4pm) guests can make their way into the showgrounds to enjoy canapes, drinks and lawn games prior to the reception starting at 6pm.
Your presence is the best gift of all, however if you wish to honour us with a gift, a wishing well will be present at the reception.
We specifically have chosen our reception venue for the fact that we have no lock out or shut down time! We will be playing music and dancing until the wee hours of the morning. This gives our guests the freedom to choose when it is right to leave for themselves.
On Sunday morning from 9am, we will be having a brunch at the showgrounds for those who would like to come and bid farewell before departing Tumut. A coffee van will be on site to give you the best coffee in town to accompany our bacon and egg rolls and fruit platters.
