Waitsfield Farmers Market
This is a great way to spend Saturday morning! These are the flavors and goods of central Vermont, we highly recommend a stroll and a taste from one of the many food vendors. Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Canteen Creemee Company
Many of our guests have requested a rec for a Maple Creemee! This is a Vermont treat that you are bound to love (it's basically soft serve ice cream, but creamier-- hence the name!) They also offer yummy food if you are looking for a casual bite to eat while in town.
Lawson’s Finest Liquids
We are so proud of our local brewery Lawson's! Their family are very present in the community, and their beer is legendary. Light bites and excellent beer.
Sunset Rock Hiking Trail
This is where the couple got engaged! A great little hike, with some steep climbs to start, but ultimately a short hike with a stunning view of Lake Champlain. Recommended for those who are outdoorsy and want to get in a quick hike while visiting the Green Mountain State.
Blueberry Lake
This is a beautiful place to swim or kayak! If you need to rent any water sports items, we recommend going to Clearwater Sports in Waitsfield.
Lareau Farm & Flatbread
You'll probably recognize the distinctive logo, available in freezers across the US, but this is the OG pizza place! The atmosphere is fun and casual, but do not show up hungry, there is often a wait for a table, as they run it first come first serve. But don't be deterred there are lawn games and adirondack chairs to make the wait comfy.
Sugarbush Resort
Our local ski mountain has restaurants, chairlift rides, and other activities.
Camel's Hump
This is a favorite hike of the Bride, gorgeous views of Vermont and gives you a feeling of real accomplishment. This is a LONG hike! If you decide to go, make sure you have plenty of time (6+ hours!)
