Carpooling is also a great option to share travel costs. Bonus: there are no luggage limits by car! Book your ferry at least 60 days in advance to get the early bird fare. While flights to Paris are possible, please note that you'd need to take a 5-hour train (often quite expensive) to Cherbourg, and most likely rent a car once there — overall, the ferry is the most affordable and practical option. If you arrive in Ouistreham, it's about 1.5 hours' drive to the venue. From Cherbourg, it's just 30 minutes away, though ferries there are less frequent.
