The wedding has now been relocated to a lovely venue called "il Gastro Sara" (located near Moon Beach, approximately 20 minutes by car from our beach house). It is still in the area of Onna, Okinawa, approximately 40 minutes north of Naha Airport. It is located just a few steps from Kariyushi Beach, behind a small restaurant called Sea Breeze. Naha Airport (OKA)・(那覇空港)

This is the closest airport to our venue. Many international flights fly directly into Naha Airport but if you wish to make a stop-over to explore other parts of Japan, there are domestic roundtrip flights to Naha departing from any airport in Japan. **【Next Day Arrivals】** When purchasing flights to Japan, please be mindful of time difference and note that the arrival date may be the following day. Rental Cars in Naha (Okinawa)

We recommend renting a car during your stay in Okinawa. However, please be aware that you MUST obtain an international driving permit (IDP) prior to arriving in Japan. They cannot be obtained in Japan. Please see the travel note on how to obtain an international driving permit (IDP). 【Getting to the venues by car】: For the shortest route, (40 mins to the wedding venue, 1 hr to the beach house) take the Okinawa Expressway (沖縄自動車道) and be prepared to pay a small toll fee in Japanese CASH ONLY (no cards are accepted). If you prefer to avoid toll fees and don't mind a longer route (30 or so mins more) take the Japan National Route 58 (国道58号) instead. Here is a link to Rentalcars.com:

** Important Notice on Obtaining an International Driving Permit (IDP) **

Obtaining an International Driving Permit (IDP) An international driving permit issued in the United States by the American Automobile Association (AAA) or the American Automoile Touring Alliance is required of short-term visitors who drive in Japan. IDP’s must be obtained prior to arriving in Japan. They cannot be obtained in Japan. Note that IDP’s are not intended to replace valid U.S. state licenses and should only be used as a supplement to a valid license. Shuttle Bus OPTION 1: "Okinawa Airport Shuttle"・(沖縄エアポートシャトル)

From Naha Airport there are 2 shuttle buses that make stops near our beach house: ・The Okinawa Airport Shuttle to "Kariyushi Beach Mae" (Option 1) ・The Airport Limousine Bus to "Okinawa Kariyushi Beach Resort Ocean Spa" (Option 2) 【OPTION 1: Okinawa Airport Shuttle】 Take the Okinawa Airport Shuttle Bus to "Kariyushi Beach Mae" which is the closest stop to our beach house. From the bus stop, our house is a 5-10 minute drive. Whether you are heading straight to our beach house from the airport or to your hotel/Airbnb, it shouldn't be too difficult to hail a cab from this bus stop. ※ 那覇空港から私達のビーチハウスの近くまで シャトルバスが2つ出ています： ・沖縄エアポートシャトル ・空港リムジンバス こちらは「沖縄エアポートシャトル」 のサイトです。 下車「かりゆしビーチ前」 からタクシーで5分〜10分です。

【OPTION 2: Airport Limousine Bus】 From Naha Airport, take the Airport Limousine Bus to "Okinawa Kariyushi Beach Resort Ocean Spa" which is the closest stop to our beach house (a 5-10 minute drive). Whether you are heading straight to our beach house from the airport or to your hotel/Airbnb, it shouldn't be too difficult to hail a cab from this bus stop. This particular bus stop will drop you off in front of a hotel called the "Okinawa Kariyushi Beach Resort Ocean Spa" so you will have easy access to a taxi. ※ 那覇空港から私達のビーチハウスの近くまで シャトルバスが2つ出ています。 こちらは「空港リムジンバス」 のサイトです。下車「沖縄かりゆしビーチリゾートオーシャンスパ」からタクシーで5分〜10分です。

Having our wedding on or nearby the beach was key for us and since we wanted to personalize it as much as possible, we decided to look into beach homes that were intimate, yet large enough to accommodate our closest family and friends.
