Although our wedding will take place in Japan, it will not be carried out in a typical Japanese style nor will it be completely 'American.' 

In Japan, it is customary that guests pay a wedding fee and are expected to bring money as a wedding gift. Since we are asking our guests to travel so far, we will not be charging a wedding fee. Monetary contributions will be gladly accepted but not expected.
