You just have to get some!
If you go, bring layers, it can be cold at the top! Adam and I have hiked this with Jacob and Immy, it is a great day trip for those who like a challenge.
If you are looking for something quiet and calm, this is a great spa to visit.
For a tasting of the best whiskey and vodka, we recommend a trip to this distillery. If you like Whiskey, be prepared to buy a few.
A nice walk for the family that is a bit easier than the fells.
To explore Adams favorite valley in the lake district without the walking. (or if you don't want to drive on the tight narrow, twisty lanes)
Mauraine's first hike on the fells. Look for Mauraines favorite yellow hat at the pub after the hike. She lost it there.
A great day trip on the lake, you get on at Ambleside or Windemere or lakeside. Cruise on the LARGEST lake in England (Don't worry, the St. Lawrence River is wider in Canada). If you make it all the way to Lakeside hotel, the boat can drop you off for afternoon tea. This is the hotel where Adam once worked as a food runner. (Carrying big silver plates of food and polished all the silver) The link to the hotel tea is here: https://www.lakesidehotel.co.uk/dining/afternoon-tea/
If you are looking for shopping, this is the place to do it! Take a bus from Grasemere or a taxi.
Come here for afternoon tea - this is where Adam once worked polishing silver and running food.
This has some 'really cool shit in it' per Adam. Highly recommended to motor sport enthusiasts,
Take a walk through Adam's home town. Visit the Sir John Barrow Monument - A walk up a hill. Have a beer and a snack at The Farmers Watch a Movie at the Roxy Theater
A great rainy day activity or for the kids to walk through the tunnel of sea creatures.
If you fancy some dry suit diving, this is where Adam and Megan learned to dive. You can see sunken airplanes, helicopters and if you are lucky the local sturgeons.
A nice walk, not difficult, swimming is possible in the bottom of the cove. Take a lunch to make it a picnic.
