What is the dress code?

We are bringing a touch of 19th-century romance to the Roaring Twenties for an evening that is moody, romantic, and effortlessly grand. Our vision blends Victorian elegance—think lace, high collars, and moody florals—with the unmistakable Gatsby glamour of gold accents, jazz, and sparkle. To help us set the stage for this "Moody Vintage" celebration, we kindly ask that you join us in all-black formal wear. Whether it is a sleek tuxedo, a lace-trimmed gown, or a velvet suit, we want to see you in your finest "Midnight Noir." Together, let’s make the evening truly timeless.

Where should I park?
Answer
Gatsby Events offers an on-site parking lot for guests, so you won’t have to wander far. There is also typically street parking available along Chouteau Ave.

Will the event be indoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors within the historic ballroom spaces. However, guests may have access to the rooftop terrace for cocktails, which offers a stunning 180° view of the St. Louis skyline.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The "Party of the Century" begins promptly at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 4:00 PM to find your seat and enjoy the atmosphere.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Due to the intimate nature of our venue, we can only accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation. If your invite says “and Guest,” feel free to bring a date!

What is the bar situation?
Answer
While the dinner and dancing are on us, the bar will be a cash/credit bar for those wishing to indulge in spirits. We recommend having a card or some cash on hand for your favorite Gatsby-era cocktails.

Yes, Gatsby Events is fully ADA accessible with an elevator to ensure all guests can enjoy every floor of the celebration.

Absolutely! We believe a true "Party of the Century" is a family affair. We look forward to seeing your little ones dressed in their finest black attire alongside you.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture our "I Dos." We kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so you can be fully present with us in the moment. Once we’re pronounced husband and wife, feel free to snap away at the reception!

Is there a gift registry?

Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to honor us with a token of your affection, we have a "Honeymoon Fund" for our first grand adventure as a married couple.

When should I RSVP by?

To ensure we have a seat and a plate for every guest, please send us your response by February 15, 2027. You can RSVP right here on our website or by returning the card included in your invitation.

Since March in St. Louis can be a bit chilly, Gatsby Events provides a secure coat check area so you can shed your Victorian layers and hit the dance floor in style.

We’ve traded a traditional seated dinner for a lavish buffet-style feast curated by the incredible Culinary Canvas. You'll find three distinct culinary worlds to explore: The Smokehouse: Hearty, classic BBQ favorites. The Slider Bar: Gourmet, bite-sized perfections. South of the Border: Zesty, bold street-taco inspired flavors. Come hungry—our buffet is designed so you can sample a bit of everything (or a lot of your favorites) as we celebrate!
