Question

Update 5/21/25

Answer

A few housekeeping things: 1. Parking at Everline can be expensive but they are offering $10 daily parking for all wedding guests (even if you aren’t staying at the hotel) so just remember to get it validated otherwise you may be stuck with a big bill ($65 I think if you aren’t a hotel guest) at the end of the day! Maybe put an alarm on your phone to remind you to validate your parking. 2. For those attending the welcome party the evening before, just a reminder that we have the picnic tables reserved all day. Feel free to head over early to hike along the shore, go for a (cold) swim or check out Tahoe Adventure Company located at the beach for SUP or kayak rentals! We will be heading over around 4 but also feel free to come whenever that evening for some sammies, lights snacks, and drinks. Parking for 42 cars is available on National Avenue (see map below). Looks like there is a $10 parking fee for the day so try to carpool if desired. 3. For the day after, we were originally planning on something a little more formal/organized, but turns out it’s hard to plan for all 70 (!) of you wanting to keep the party going! We will be heading over the King’s Beach after breakfast in the morning, but feel to head over whenever. There is parking right at the beach, but again try to carpool because this beach can be pretty popular. This beach also has a $10 parking fee. We haven’t organized anything formal for food after but may be grabbing some pies from Whitecaps Pizza or grabbing a brewski at Bear Belly Brewing Company after the beach. 4. Lastly, although we have an amazing photographer and videographer for wedding day, Jeff and I would love to see all your photos from the weekend! At the night before and wedding day you may notice some QR codes around for an opportunity to upload photos- please do this! No app download or login required! Plus you can look at other guests photos for the weekend- it’s a win-win!

Answer

Hello all! Less than 3 weeks till the big day!!! A couple last reminders: 1. The whole wedding/reception is outside! So bring sunglasses for the ceromony/cocktail hour and coats for the evening if desired. Day time temperatures are usually around 70 but it can drop to upper 40s at night (although the reception ends at 10pm and then the afterparty is an inside bar 20 feet away, so we don't expect it to be quite that cold at that time). 2. The ceremony is on grass and most of the reception is on turf, so plan shoe wear appropriately if wearing heels! Anymore questions feel free to text Mary (8108539099). See you all soon, safe travels! Love, Mary, Jeffrey, and Summit
