Grand Rapids, MI - Gerald R. Ford International Airport

GRR is the closest regional airport to the venue. Grand Rapids is located about 30-40 minutes from Holland/Saugatuck. There are car rentals available onsite, and Uber and Lyft also services the area. And just an FYI... GR is nicknamed "Beer City" for a reason. Check out the home of Founders Brewing while you're there. Other airport options include Chicago O'Hare and Midway and Detroit. Both of these options are about a 3 hour drive from the venue.

Staying in Saugatuck

The West Michigan lakeshore is a vacation area that books quickly. We recommend booking accommodations as soon as you are able. There are two main locations where you can book your stay: 1. Downtown Saugatuck. The downtown area is where the majority of our wedding activities will take place and where we'll be staying. Downtown Saugatuck has numerous rentals and inns that are walkable to all wedding festivities, as well as attractions such as boat rentals, award winning restaurants, pubs, and live music. Saugatuck is a well known destination for art lovers, so make sure to check out the copious shops run by local artists. 2. Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, Holland, MI is a neighboring town about 15 minutes from Saugatuck with Airbnb, VRBO, and hotel options. The downtown is gorgeous and rich with history. Holland is a super walkable and bike-able city, with sidewalks lining most streets.

Douglas is right across the bridge from Saugatuck, so Airbnb's and VRBO's here are an option, as well. The Saugatuck Interurban shuttle service serves the Douglas community and can take you straight over the bridge to Saugatuck.

The Saugatuck Interurban shuttle service serves the Saugatuck and Douglas communities and provides transportation around and between the two towns for only 1 dollar a ride (50 cents for children under 12 and those above 62). Just call 269-857-1418 and say you need a ride!
