Marly and Katie met during peak New York City pandemic lockdown. On April 1st, 2020, Katie was shut away in her Brooklyn apartment by herself and Marly was on a literal abandoned island with her dads. Both got bored and sad so they opened America's favorite dating app, Hinge. In between Zoom happy hours with friends, car trips around the city for work, and walks with the Fire Island deer population, Marly and Katie found time to go on a Zoom date. That date lasted four hours. Fast forward two years and Katie and Marly live together with a golden retriever, a cat, and some frequently dehydrated plants. They love each other.
