Fun for all ages. Go flying over the sands of Saugatuck, learn about local history, and run up and down the dunes during a mid ride pit stop. Or crawl if you're old like us.
Saugatuck Chain Ferry
A fav of Marly's, the Saugatuck Chain Ferry, "Diane", is the ONLY working chain ferry in this US of A. Pretty special, huh? The chain ferry is run daily during the summer by local hard working young people. They will pull you across the river with seemingly little effort, allowing you to walk to Oval Beach right on Lake Michigan. Virtue Cider
They've got hard cider, they've got charcuterie boards with honey from their beehive, they've got lawn games, they've got goats and pigs. Take a look at the photo at the top of this webpage. That catalogue worthy, sexy bunch of pals are walking the grounds of Virtue. Doesn't it look like we were having a blast? That's because we were.
Retro Boat Rentals & The Old Boathouse
See Saugatuck from the Kalamazoo River on a retired ski boat. Our personal favorite is Laverne, pictured above. She's a 1958 Skimaster from Ft. Worth, TX. They also have pontoons and donut boats for bigger groups.
The Dunes Resort
Your friendly local gay club! There's a pool, there are many bars, there are drag shows. The couple will be playing drag bingo here Tuesday night.
Little Shop of Horrors
The hit classic is playing inside our wedding venue while you're in town! Lucky you! The couple is seeing the show Wednesday night if you want to join us.
Oval Beach
The best beach in the world. If you can't make it to our Friday beach bash, we recommended finding some time to sink your toes into the Greatest Lake. Pure Michigan, baby.
Saugatuck Dunes State Park
Our favorite hiking spot (Huck loves it, too). Dreamy trails through the pine forest that lead to the more remote beaches.
