Below are some of our favorite spots centrally located in downtown Sarasota and all are walking distance from the hotel: - Owen’s Fishcamp (casual seafood joint) - Sage (upscale, be sure to check out their rooftop) - Kojo (Asian fusion) - Focaccia Sandwich & Bakery (sandwich shop that Tia shoots content for) - O&A (coffee shop) - Cest La Vie (French bistro, favorite breakfast spot) - The Breakfast House (best pancakes you’ll ever have) - O'Leary's (located in Bayfront Park on the water, a must visit for a piña colada)
St. Armands Circle
There is a free shuttle service from Downtown Sarasota to St. Armand’s Circle daily called the Bay Runner. The shuttle also takes you to Lido Beach. Check out their website for their schedule!
Siesta Key Beach
Voted the number one beach in the US, a beach day at Siesta Key is a must! Enjoy food & drinks afterwards on the strip. Our favorite spots are Siesta Key Oyster Bar (SKOB) and 3.14 Pi Craft Beer & Spirits for live music!
Bayfront Park
Enjoy a morning walk along Bayfront Park located conveniently across the street from the Westin Hotel.
Lido Key Mangrove Kayak Tours
Enjoy a day out on the water by kayaking through the Florida mangroves. A truly unique experience, the guides will teach you about all of the local sea creatures we have here and if you’re lucky you’ll even get to see a manatee!
The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art
Check out the gorgeous European architecture at the Ringling museum - seriously, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Versailles.
